Program Administrator Summer STEM Camp

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Effectively oversee and support daily operations of the 2024 Summer STEM Camp.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

 

Facilitate training for the STEM Camp Program. Effectively implement a STEM Camp Program curriculum. Ensure schedule runs smoothly, coordinate efforts of clerks to support the program and instruction. Promote a positive, caring climate for student learning. Deal sensitively and fairly with persons across diverse cultural backgrounds. Maintain positive, collaborative and supportive relationships with students and other staff. Comply with district policy and procedures as well as state/federal laws related to digital integration including, but not limited to, FERPA, COPPA, and CIPA, on an ongoing basis. Appropriate dress is required as per IISD Dress Code.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

 

Supervise implementation of Summer STEM Camp program by teachers and support 

staff. 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

 

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:   Must maintain emotional control and exercise reasoning and problem solving skills while under stress. Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written). 

 

Safety:  Contribute to the prevention of accidents and injuries by observing safety rules and District policy, practicing the principles and skills taught in safety training, wearing personal protective equipment as required, reporting injuries and incidents immediately to supervisor, and being proactive in the ongoing efforts to improve and maintain workplace safety.
