JOB TITLE:  Teacher for Elementary Summer Program

REPORTS TO: Program Facilitator     

                                                                 

 

PRIMARY PURPOSE:       The teacher is responsible for supporting students with language development and the essential knowledge and skills appropriate for the level of the students within the content areas.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Current Irving ISD teacher

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

It is the teacher’s responsibility to prepare and follow with fidelity the curriculum provided and presented during training during the summer program. The BIL/ESL teacher will work closely with the Emergent BIlingual Early Childhood Summer Program Facilitator, Elementary BIL/ESL Coordinator, other teachers, and students. All other duties as assigned by the facilitator. Appropriate dress is required as per IISD Dress Code.
